The application of the ceramic coating itself is the final, shortest stage of the job. The majority of the time is spent on decontamination and paint correction, as the coating preserves the condition of the surface it's applied to.
This is why a quote is always provided after inspecting the car: the condition and thickness of the paint, the size of the vehicle, and the desired final result are all taken into account.
How Long Does a Ceramic Coating Really Last?
Depending on the product used and how the car is maintained, a coating can last from one to as many as 5 years. A garaged and hand-washed car will retain the effect for much longer than one parked on the street and cleaned in an automatic wash.
The coating doesn't eliminate the risk of mechanical damage, but it significantly simplifies washing and reduces dirt adhesion.
How to Care for Your Car After Application
Once the coating has cured, the car can be washed normally—we recommend hand washing with a pH-neutral shampoo and periodically refreshing it with a product that boosts hydrophobicity.
