How We Work

The Car Waxing Process

We perform every waxing service according to a proven process. This ensures the wax bonds properly with the paint, and the gloss and protection last longer.

1. Two-Stage Hand Wash

We start with an active foam pre-wash, followed by a hand wash using a proper shampoo and wash mitt. Wax is only applied to a perfectly clean surface—this is key for a durable finish.

2. Drying the Bodywork

After rinsing, we use forced air to blow water out of seals and crevices, then hand-dry the bodywork and sills with soft towels. The paint must be perfectly dry before wax application.

3. Wax Application

We apply liquid or hard wax by hand using an applicator, covering every panel of the bodywork. This ensures an even layer that bonds properly with the paint.

4. Buffing and Finishing

Once the wax has cured, we buff the surface with a soft microfibre cloth to reveal a full, deep gloss. To finish, we apply a tyre dressing, included in the service price.
